Impressive Career and Accomplishments

Alejandro Tabilo Álvarez, born on June 2, 1997, is a Chilean professional tennis player who has made significant strides in the sport. Born in Toronto, Canada, he switched allegiance to Chile in 2017. Tabilo has achieved a career-high ATP singles ranking of World No. 39 and a doubles ranking of World No. 249.

In 2022, Tabilo broke into the Top 100 for the first time and reached a career-high ranking of No. 39. He earned six straight-set wins, including five over Argentine opponents, to reach his first ATP Tour final at the Cordoba Open.

Breakthrough Title in Auckland

Tabilo's most memorable achievement came in 2024 when he won his maiden ATP Tour title at the ASB Classic in Auckland. The 26-year-old dropped only one set throughout the tournament, including in qualifying, to become the first Chilean to win a tour-level hard-court title since Fernando Gonzalez in 2007.

Continued Success and Bright Future

Tabilo's success continued in 2024 as he earned his first Top 10 win against Casper Ruud in Monte Carlo. He also reached the third round of the Australian Open, his best Grand Slam result to date.

With his strong performances and consistent progress, Tabilo is poised to continue climbing the ATP rankings and challenge for even greater achievements in the future.
